பாலு மகேந்திரா எடுக்கவிருந்த படத்திற்காக நான் எழுதிய கதை இது. ஒரு குறுநாவல். இதை அவர் திரைக்கதை அமைப்பதாக இருந்தது. அந்த தயாரிப்பாளர் பங்குச்சந்தை வீழ்ச்சியில் காணாமல் போனதனால் திட்டம் கைவிடப்பட்டது. அவர் வேறு கதைக்குச் சென்றுவிட்டார். முற்றிலும் சொற்சித்திரமாக உள்ள இந்த உணர்ச்சிகரமான கதைக்கு அவர் எப்படி காட்சி வடிவம் அளித்து திரைக்கதை அமைத்திருப்பார் என்ற எதிர்பார்ப்பு எனக்கு இருந்தது. அது நிகழவே இல்லை என்பதில் வருத்தம் என்றாலும் எது நிகழ்கிறதோ அதுவே அது என்று கொள்ள வேண்டியதுதான்
